“Panda d’Oro-SME” for Giacomini Group!
The 10th edition of the Panda d’Oro Award, annually organized by China Italy Chamber of Commerce, was successfully held on 1st of June 2019 at Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai.
With the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE) and the Italian Embassy in the P.R.C., the Panda d’Oro represents a signature event for the Sino-Italian business community to strengthen existing relations and build new ones. The gathering is aimed to celebrate and praise Italian and Chinese companies with outstanding performances, which have contributed to foster China-Italy bilateral economic relations.
The event was opened by Michele Cecchi, General Consul of Italy in Shanghai, followed by welcome speeches by Davide Cucino, Chairman of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, and Li Weixin, Director of China International Import Expo (CIIE).

The evening was characterized by a tribute to legendary artist Leonardo Da Vinci of the Italian Renaissance, for the fifth centenary of his death. In His honor, the foyer was set up with the reproduction of his most important inventions.
